Customs Enforcement of Intellectual Property Rights in China

The EU-China IPR2 project, which is financed by the EU has produced several guides to intellectual property protection in China. Published in the Summer of 2008 The Roadmap for Intellectual Property Protection in China focuses on customs enforcement and proceedings before the General Administration of Customs of China (GACC). The guide provides basic and practical information on how to proceed to secure your rights against counterfeiters.

The Roadmap to Trademark Protection in China offers an overview of the Chinese trademark registration system, as well as introduces the several available means of enforcement in administrative, civil and criminal proceedings.
