NEW EDITOR FOR THE NJCL
Dear Reader of the Nordic Journal of Commercial Law,
After five consecutive years as the Editor-in-Chief of the Nordic Journal of Commercial Law, the time has come to pass the torch to the new Editor-in-Chief, Ms. Katja Weckström. Ms. Weckström holds a Master of Laws from the University of Turku Faculty of Law, an LL.M. from Chicago-Kent College of Law, and is working toward her LL.D. in intellectual property law at the University of Turku. Please extend a warm welcome to Ms. Weckström as the new Editor-in-Chief of the Nordic Journal of Commercial Law.
I am extremely grateful for my time as the Editor-in-Chief, and it makes me glad indeed that since the establishment of the Nordic Journal, it has been listed in a number of respected databases, including UNCITRAL, Institut Suisse de Droit Comparé, and the European Court of Justice. Its readership has also grown consistently, which gives me great pleasure. Ms. Weckström will expand the scope of the Nordic Journal by introducing intellectual property and international trade law as new areas of focus, whilst she will continue to strengthen the Nordic Journals mainstay, international commercial law. I am convinced that the Nordic Journal will improve in Ms. Weckströms capable hands. I will retain a supporting role, as a member of the Editorial Board.
Many thanks for your continued support of the Nordic Journal of Commercial Law, and best of luck to Ms. Weckström as the new Editor-in-Chief.
Sincerely Yours,
Jarno J. Vanto
